Content Development & Execution

Translate construction industry topics into engaging ideas. Push the boundaries and bring creative ideas to the table. We know how to make the best content for search engines, but we need your expertise to make it the best in terms of readability, communication of messaging and branding, creativity and effectiveness.

  • Write, edit, and manage high-quality content for websites. This content includes blogs, on-page content, landing pages, creative assets (ebooks), etc.
  • Write, edit, proofread and fact-check copy for brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Write for your audience – B2B and B2C decision makers.
  • Develop concepts, angles, and voice for all content pieces.

Planning & Managing:

You will be charged with leading the content creation workflow from beginning to end with content writers, designers, and developers.

  • Manage a team of freelance writers and designers with subject-matter-expertise relevant to CLB and CLB members. This includes scheduling assignments in Asana, our project management platform, keeping track of workload, addressing any questions from, proofing their work, providing constructive feedback, and onboarding.
  • Support our internal project management team in developing content strategies and plans, including social media postings, blogs, and website content for CLB and CLB members.
  • Manage and maintain content calendars for CLB and CLB members.
  • Develop content that is planned around and supports the buyers journeys.
  • Measure the effectiveness of your content by setting, tracking and reporting on insights and meaningful metrics (KPIs).

CLB CRM Management 

  • Assisting with updates and management of CLB Sales in the CLB CRM
  • Tagging leads appropriately
  • Updating and cleaning contacts, emails, workflows, and lists as necessary
  • Assist in pulling and analyzing CLB Network Sales Reports

CLB Client CRM Management 

Creative and problem-solving mindset in order to solve problems for our builders and scale to all

  • CRM Setup for new members
  • Customizing CRM upon request, if request is approved by CLB Team
  • CRM Onboarding for new members
  • CRM support for new and existing members
  • Assist in managing the Strategic Partner Email campaign for each member
  • Assist in encouraging all members to use each part of the CRM (especially the sales pipeline)
  • Assist in rolling out updates to all Client CRMs
  • Assist in posting to and managing social media accounts and blog of CLB Network and CLB Network Members
  • Collaborating with team on content and captions
  • Ensuring all content has been shared and mapped out on the CLB Network Member’s Content Strategy board in Asana
  • Research and Engagement for CLB Network and CLB Network Members
  • Assisting with blog posting for CLB Network members
  • Blog Keywording
  • Blog Review
  • Assist in reviewing Blog performance to determine most popular each month
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, etc.)
  • Assist in established programs for CLB Network members
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail)
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
  • Assist in website management


  • 2 years marketing experience (Required)
  • 2 years professional writing experience (Preferred)
  • Understands SEO techniques and best practices as related to content writing to ensure content satisfies searcher intent
  • Past projects that include using data to tell stories online
  • Understand design and the creative process
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media, the buyer’s journey, etc.) and market research methods
  • Familiar with (or be willing to learn) Asana, Google Drive, Lucid Press, Canva, SharpSpring
  • Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience/understanding in marketing data analytics and tools
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (CRM) and applications (Web analytics)
  • Easily picks up and learns how to use new applications
