Job brief

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between CLB's Marketing and Builder's Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients and partners.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience and success developing leads into qualified business from marketing campaigns and meeting sales goals. You will use your curiosity and communication skills to cultivate trusting relationships with prospects in minutes, from the first contact until you close a project design agreement and schedule a project team meeting. You will also ensure proper after-sales service by managing client reviews and referrals. If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will work to boost sales and contribute to the long-term business growth of our company and our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contacting potential clients by phone and email
  • Update SharpSpring Sales CRM opportunities and tasks
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and point qualified prospects to helpful resource guides while closing idea session meetings.
  • Contacting potential & current strategic partners about opportunities
  • Presenting the builder's company to potential clients and partners
  • Presenting the 5-star experience and 5-simple step pitch
  • Presenting COOP opportunities to Trade Partners to increase business
  • Manage client reviews and referrals
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the local market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and builder project teams
  • Report to the CLB Business Manager and Builder Owner (weekly/monthly/quarterly) on marketing & sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new real-estate sales activity in the local market

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative sales executive, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including CRM, LinkedIn, Calling & Email)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. SharpSpring)
  • Understanding of qualification techniques and best-fit criteria
  • Curiosity and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field

  • Familiarity with Real Estate or Luxury Building & Remodeling Industry
